She's getting so big!

Carolyn Came to visit us Friday, I had to run back to work (I was home for lunch) and these are the pics she took while she was here.

She was tired and hungry, and sad that I had to go back to work. Poor snugga! No more pictures! She says...
Ella, her cousin, is 14 months older than bekah, but just three pounds heavier, and a couple inches taller. Crazy!
Bekah has been talking like crazy the last few weeks, really starting to string words together, and make sense. She says things like "Hi momma" "Oh wow!" "Um ok" "please, thank you" "more please."

Yesterday Ben came home from a movie, and Bekah was so excited so see him she forgot his name. She just started shouting out every word she knew... "Purple! Yellow! Daddy! OH WOW!" was how it went. We laughed and laughed.

I can't believe this little munchkin is growing so fast. :)

Minor update

Sorry so long without an update. I've been sick for about a week. I had my mom dye my hair last week and I had a really nasty reaction to the dye. My scalp broke out in a rash and I was queasy and tired for a few days. It was pretty bad. It's a dye I used before, but not for a long time so who knows what's up with that...

Anyway, not much happening with us. Ben FINALLY got his social security info, so now we can go get him an ID card, then a Driver's License! YAY!

Any of you that know the situation know that I have been the only driver in our family since before we got married. Long story. It's actually how Ben and I fell in love actually... in traffic court. :D

Anyway things are really looking up on that front. This means we can go to bars (there are a couple in the area with GREAT food) on our dates, he can drive to work this winter, we can travel, get a new car, get a new apartment. It means a lot of things.

Anyway, just thought I'd share the great news... and give a little update.

See ya!

Garden update

Well our garden has gone from a tiny tidy patch of earth to a crazy wilderness of tomatoes and mustard greens!
Our tomatoes haven't bloomed all summer, and now... yikes! They are covered in blooms. Too bad all these green tomatoes won't ripen before the freeze. Hopefully we'll get some at least. The leaf below is actually a mustard green. We thought we'd harvested them all, then BAM we got these elephant ear sized leaves.
One of our few red tomatoes. Pretty isn't it?
There is the wilderness. that is our garden. the huge plant on the right is one tomato, the other is behind the chairs, taking over that part of the garden. There are some pansies under there somewhere... man it got a little crazy!

All Tuckered Out

Since Bekah started sleeping in her big girl bed, she hasn't been sleeping as much during the night. She gets up about 4 (which we just LOVE...NOT!) and then kind of rests until 6 when she gets up. Because of this she's been falling asleep all over the house, poor snugga!
I layed her on our bed and put on a movie, and she fell asleep before Ariel even got legs! This next picture creeps me out, She sleeps with her eyes open! Look closely, you can see it... yikes!
My poor sleepy baby. Hopefully she'll get used to putting herself back to sleep when she wakes at 4. Instead of playing with toys!

Handmade Socks from Grammy

Bekah got a lovely present from Grammy the other day... Handmade socks and a headband. If anyone knows my mom, they know she loves knitting. And socks are her knit of choice! Bekah looked so cute in these, I had to get some good pictures of her sporting them.

Big-Girl Bed!

Here is bekah in her new bed! :) It's all very exciting! I can't believe she's already big enough to be out of her crib. Yikes! No more late mornings for us...
