I found my camera!!

Here are a bunch of random pics from the last month... Just a jumble!
On the 24th of July we went to my mom's boyfriend's house for a barbecue. Dessert was fudgesicles. Bekah went a little crazy with them... she didn't seem to mind though.

A couple weekends ago we went to Raging Waters with our friends Alicia and Jason, and their two boys. This was a dragonfly that landed on Bekah's woobie.
They required plastic pants over the swim diapers to help with crypto. Luckily Alicia found this cute little bikini with the plastic pants built in. What a looker!
Alicia's son Brighton was having a hard time not running wild in that exciting place, so we put him in the playpen (prison!) while we ate.
Bekah thought it was funny to poke his tummy though the sides of the playpen. They were cracking eachother up, and us too!

A Night at Grammy's

Bekah got to have a sleepover at Grammy's last night, so mom and dad could have a date night! Grammy's house is always fun. She lets Bekah eat popsicles, play outside all evening and ride like royalty in her wagon.
Apparently every time my mom stopped pulling the wagon Bekah would cry. So they all took turns trying to keep her happy, then eventually bribed her out with a chocolate popsicle.
She's such a card! Grammy put these glasses on her, and got her to smile by holding up a mirror. Bekah thought she was pretty hilarious looking in them.
She can't wait for the next sleepover at Grammy's, and to be honest, neither can we!!

The Godmother Strikes Again!

Honey came over yesterday, and was again spoiling Bekah rotten. In a very good way! She decided that Rebekah need a ball pit this time.

Its a little inflatable ball pit, and when she crawls through the tunnel (which looks like the inflatable dog's mouth) it barks and plays a little song. Bekah couldn't be pulled from her new toy for hours. She played well into naptime... whining when I told her it was time to be done.

She's so very happy with her new toy. Me? Not as much... but ah well. That's what Godmommas are for right?

Saturday Adventures!

Saturday was the first time Ben and I have had a full day off together in over a month, so we went out and played!

First we went out to breakfast, then to the Discovery Museum at the Gateway. (Thanks to Nate for the free passes!)

She had so much fun just playing and being around other kids. Upstairs they had a helicopter on a terrace, so we took some pictures of Bekah and Ben playing inside. She was ok until Ben hit a red button and it made very realistic, very LOUD helicopter sounds. Suddenly, she was done!

I can't believe how big she's getting... almost 2, and showing it more everyday...

Happy 4th!

I had never tried out my "fireworks" filter on my camera, so I figured I'd give it a try. Too cool! It has a slower shutter speed to show more movement, and a quicker aperture to let in a little less light; showing the contrast between dark sky and bright fireworks! I think the turnout was very cool.
The first two are ground fireworks we set off, the third is an illegal air firework a neighbor set off. All of them turned out pretty neat.
Earlier in the day we played, and Bekah showed off her patriotic clothes!
She enjoyed waving her little flag quite a bit!
